INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Maximum number of authors/presentation: 1 main author, 3 co-authors, 1 scientific coordinator

An author cannot be main author of more than one presentation/category. The categories are the following:

  • Fundamental sciences
  • Medical sciences
  • Surgery

An author may be co-author of 2 presentations/category.

The oral presentation must be in English and it may be held either by the main author or by one of the co-authors.

The written support must be a presentation (done in MicrosoftOffice PowerPoint or an equivalent program), not a poster.

The submitted abstract should have between 200-300 words and must include the following:

  • Introduction
  • Material and methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Keywords

(The word count does not include the title or the authors, but it does include the subtitles )

Oral presentations should consist of your original work or meta-analyses rather than single case presentations.

Only the presenting author is required to participate at the congress, but all authors are invited to do so

The presentetion must be no longer than 7 min. There will be 3 minutes for questions. (Total of 10 minutes)

1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded in each category

POSTERS SHOULD BE MADE ON AN A3 INTERNATIONAL PAPER FORMAT OR A BIGGER ONE AND BROUGHT TO THE CONGRESS IN DIGITAL FORM (a memory stick from which your posters will be copied in the congress database at the check-in point). You are free to choose the design of your poster, there are no requirements.

An author cannot be main author of more than one case report.

An author may be co-author of 2 different case reports.

The case report will be presented as a poster and it may be presented either the main author or by one of the co-authors. Only the presenting author is required to participate at the congress, but all authors are invited to do so.

Presentetions must be no longer than 5 minutes. There will be 3 minutes for questions. (Total of 8 minutes)

The submitted abstract should be between 200-300 words and must include the following:

  • Introduction
  • Case presentation
  • Conclusion
  • Keywords

The deadline for your abstract submission is 14th of April.  The accepted abstracts will be announced by the end of April. If your abstract will not be passed by the jury and you no longer wish to participate in our congress, you will be given a full refund of your registration money.
